Glad to answer the question. Often when we expose evil, sometimes the evidence tends to be taken down by those who put it up. There is actually one which I could not get to, from another school, which took it down within a week after I posted the link.
There are quite a few instances where I have done screenshots for evidence, and some where I wish I had. Such as Dan Boone’s testimony on how he likes contemplative mysticism- that’s gone now from the NTS website. However, there is enough corroborative testimony for that which shows that he has gone down the wrong path anyway.

reformednazarene: Why have you gone out of your way to download “all of them pretty quickly”? I’m confused. If this behavior is truly of the devil, it seems like you’d want to avert your eyes and rejoice that they are being removed from the internet.

Wow! I was browsing for commentaries and discovered this discussion. i am part of the International Churches of Christ and appreciate the open discussion. i do agree there is a contradictory strain from the liberal mind that has deep contempt for the “weak” which they call unloving and closed minded. They have seemed to have created a flood of “enlightened” thought that has divided your fellowship and de-valued scripture!
The Gospel must remain distinct from cultural trends but i understand it’s an ongoing struggle to perpetually sort out wheat from chaff. My standard is now, after 25 years in our fellowship, taking full responsibility for one’s obedience to Christ. i believe the choice of one’s church must be based on a unity of belief and attending a church that you morally find distasteful distracts from your calling.

We are not attenders we are the body.

The ecclesia is a body of which you are part. Christ does not call us to stand outside of it and criticize it but to remain connected to it. If the church is no longer of Christ,
it is no longer the church then it is Christ who calls us to leave. We don’t submit to ungodly shepherds. If the church is still at core a part of the body then you are called to remain in the humility that in all its dysfunction, you are part of the solution.

What about Mount Vernon Nazarene University? My husband I both graduated from MVNU and I was raised Nazarene (both parents Naz Pastors). We left the Nazarene church 3 years ago. I was wondering if MVNU is supporting this?

I GO TO A NAZARENE CHURCH THAT PREACHES MOSTLY FLUFF MESSAGES NOTHING TOO HARD OR CONVICTING. OUR MUSIC IS NINETY FIVE PERCENT CONTEMPORARY , WE CELEBRATED LENT AND ASH WEDNESDAY THIS PAST MONTH. WE JUST GOT RID OF OUR LABYRANTH . BEING AN EX CATHOLIC THIS SENDS UP RED FLAGS. ITS A MESS!!! . .

We go to a Nazarene church that embraces NONE of the above. Our pastor preaches against all of these things, even if they’re not according to the “official line”. He preaches from the bible only not espousing homosexuality, emergent churches, or other heresies. He’s true to the word of God. That’s probably why we only average about 40 to 50, but it’s well worth it and doctrinally sound.

I keep praying for Tom and his salvation. Jesus said we would know the false teachers by their fruit. Tom’s fruit is not from the True Vine, because a contradiction is a lie and Tom’s teaching contradicts God’s Word blatantly and obviously to those who know the true voice of the Shepherd. And God is not a man that He should lie — it is an impossibility! Therefore we must pray that the Lord would bring him into the steadfast [true] love of the [true] Jesus Christ (1 Thes. 3:5). However, regardless of whether he comes to salvation or not, God will receive glory- either by his miraculous salvation or by his condemnation – the Lord is not only loving but he is just! Another impossibility is for God to set aside one attribute of His for another. He cannot set aside his justness so He can be loving – his justness had to be satisfied in Christ’s death on the cross! Therefore God is just and loving towards any one of us! We will either pay the sin debt ourselves in eternal hell or we will repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who took the debt upon Himself. All the more grateful we are for God’s saving grace – by sending Jesus Christ as a propitiation for our sins, for those who repent and believe – that He would chose any of us, a remnant, to desire and be granted repentance and belief to be saved at all… like Tom, we all justly deserved condemnation. We certainly have done nothing to deserve our salvation. To God alone be the Glory- and may the Lord in His Sovereignty grant salvation to Tom Oord as well.

Great job Manny in helping to expose the apostates. I am so glad that I early on learn to allow the Word of God to judge me instead of me trying to judge His word! I personally believe Oord is lost. I have and will pray for his soul, as well as for the Lord to remove him from our school.
